THE FASTEST GROWING RELIGION
We well realize that it is politically incorrect to trash Islam, a major world religion which supposedly is the fastest growing in the world. In our judgment however, the truth is considerably more important than the politically correct emotions of a large percentage of our present population, which we refer to as the "touchy-feelies." These poor souls are jerked around by their emotions and hate those nasty five letter words…..truth and logic! If this group had a motto, it would be: "Don't confuse me with facts, my mind's made up!" They are to be pitied, but should not be taken seriously. Unfortunately, all to often they are taken seriously in our present world society.
There are several principal factors, insuring continued growth of Islam in our Western societies. Ignorance of Islam is the most important. It is entirely safe to say that most citizens of Western societies lack even a rudimentary knowledge of Islam. And this ignorance cuts across all economic, political, social and educational class distinctions. Until the general populations of the countries, not as yet controlled by Islam, become alerted, little progress towards our protection is possible.
The previously mentioned mindset of the "touchy-feelies", and the fear engendered in them by Islam is certainly another major factor. And, still another powerful impetus for the spread of Islam, is the billions, not millions, of dollars continuously being spent by Muslim countries, especially Saudi Arabia. Besides supporting world terrorism, the Saudi money is funneled through various so-called charitable organizations in the U.S. and other countries. This is a continuous campaign of disinformation to convince the public that Islam is a religion of "peace and tolerance." The propaganda piece issued by the Saudi Embassy in the U.S., entitled "Understanding Islam and the Muslims", as well as the funding of thousands of mosques and centers of Islamic Studies throughout the world are good examples. Estimates of money spent by the Saudis, over the last thirty years, towards Islamic control of the world, vary widely, from a low of 50 billion to upwards of 70 billion dollars! However, either figure is considerably more than the Soviets spent over an eighty-year period for the advancement of World Communism. This has been a productive investment concerning Europe. There are now more mosques than churches in England and France and all countries belonging to the European Union give Muslims preferential treatment regarding their faith. Examples: A person can be fined or jailed for saying anything negative concerning Islam, Muslims in Germany are exempt from laws concerning bigamy, some countries permit Shari'a schools to exist and Islam is a required subject in the public schools of several countries of the European Union.
The largest amount of this money is directed towards the United States, the country most historically involved in the importation of African slaves, in order to sow hatred and dissension among the Black community towards our present society. Thus, some Blacks embrace Islam as a means of payback against the Founding Fathers of the United States, all of whom were Christians and some of whom owned slaves. Even important Christian leaders of the Black community, for their own agenda and directly opposed to the
principles of Dr. Martin Luther King, are accomplices. They actively work to keep
racial hatred alive between the Black and White races. Louis Farrakhan’s success with his "Nation of Islam" plays on this resentment, but is far removed from the true Islam. He is despised by true Muslims, but tolerated for the converts to Islam he provides.
The highest increase regarding converts to Islam occurs in our prison systems. Muslim imams (priests) hold services in prisons throughout the U.S. For many prisoners, Islam is extremely attractive since male dominance, polygamy, spousal abuse and violence are sanctioned by the Koran, as well as several even more anti-social or criminal acts, if committed against "infidels."
But all of us, even the "touchy-feelies" must, or certainly should, realize that we are only primarily responsible for our own actions. We might secondarily be responsible for the actions of a spouse or children, or even grandchildren, if living under our roof until eighteen years of age. But surely, we are not responsible for the actions of a relative who lived 175 to 200 years ago, be the person Black or White!
And, we should not forget Islam’s nihilistic appeal to young men such as John Walker Linde, of California, captured in Afghanistan fighting for the Taliban, the English "shoe bomber" Richard Reid and the young undergraduate at the University of Oklahoma, Joel H. Hendrix III. He tried to introduce a bomb into that University's football stadium in 2005 while a game was in progress, evidently with the idea of exploding himself and killing others. Except for an alert security guard, who asked to revise Mr. Hendrix's backpack, he most probably would have succeeded. When the guard asked to see the contents of the backpack, Hendrix ran away and exploded himself on a bench outside the stadium. University officials, the campus newspaper, local police authorities and the F.B.I. belittled the incident, saying that Hendrix had no ties to terrorist organizations. However, this is a matter of semantics; Hendrix had converted to Islam, was a member of the local mosque, and his room mate was a Pakistani. He was a Muslim, and as such, pertained to the largest terrorist organization in the world, Islam!
All three of these young men seem to have been searching for direction in their lives, and they believed that they had found it in Islam. It is quite possible that none of the three young men had any degree of spiritual instruction in their respective households, but not surprising in our present day society. The strictness of the Muslim religion undoubtedly has an appeal for young men such as Linde, Reid and Hendrix.
For the moment, these three cases are aberrations, but soon to be joined by scores of others produced by school systems throughout Western society with their courses of Islamic Studies. (See "The Saudi Fifth Column", Pg. 127, in the Selected Reading section).
[Postnote: Islam has an estimated 1.2 billion members as a base and Christianity has only about 800 million persons professing the Christian faith. Taking into account this disparity of bases, Christianity, not Islam, can claim to be the fastest growing religion.]
