A FEW KEY QUESTIONS FOR MUSLIMS
Before a person gives allegiance to a religious belief system, designed to govern every facet of their daily lives, it would be an intelligent decision to investigate every aspect of that religion. A strong loyalty, to one’s religion is commendable, but only if that religion is worthy of its followers’ loyalty! The question then: Is Islam deserving of the unwavering loyalty of its members?
Unfortunately, Islam, as Catholicism did until a few decades ago, depends on keeping the faithful ignorant of their own religion. Until fairly recently, the Catholic Church discouraged the reading of the Bible, and the Mass was given in Latin; left was only the homily in a local language. With Muslims, the situation is more drastic; no translation of the Koran from Classical Arabic to other languages is recognized as being the undiluted revelations of Allah. Since it is doubtful that even 3% of the world’s Muslims have mastered this extremely difficult language, many Muslim clerics are more ignorant of their own religion than the lowliest seminarian of Catholicism. In most countries, including the United States, they limit themselves to innocuous rote prayers, in Arabic, generally followed by homilies of hate against infidels.
The following questions are for Muslims born into their religion, converts to Islam or persons considering a conversion to Islam.
ONE: Name, if you can, any society that has been incorporated into Islam, from the 7th century to date, except by ruthless conquest, or the threat of such conquest, accompanied by murder, rape, pillage, slavery, and genocide.
TWO: If Islam is such a wonderful religion, why does it so hate knowledge that Islamic schools still teach that the world is flat and that the sun revolves around the earth? And, could this hatred of knowledge have anything to do with the fact, according to United Nations statistics of 2002, that the average household income throughout the Islamic world is less than $5,000 a year, notwithstanding the hundreds of billions of dollars, and other currencies, received yearly by Muslim countries for their oil exports?
THREE: Why is it, that not a single democracy exists within the 53 countries of the Islamic world?
FOUR: If Islam were to be successful in achieving total control of your own present society, would you be willing to subject yourself, and your family, to a loss of basic human rights, such as free speech, right of peaceful assembly, trial by jury, and the other rights of an enlightened society? In other words, would you want to live under Shari’a, the Muslim Law?
FIVE: If you had not been born into Islam, do you think that you would want to join a religion based on a complete intolerance of any other belief system and dedicated to the subjugation of all other societies by the sword; a religion that rejects knowledge, has the
highest incidence of spousal abuse, sexual abuse of children, and still approves and practices genocide and slavery?
SIX: If a man named Muhammad, or by any other name, were to invent a new religion today, would you be so eager to associate yourself with a person, whose numerous crimes have been well documented, a man personally guilty of murder including by crucifixions, rape, torture, kidnapping, extortion, slavery, mutilations, theft, adultery, false witness, abuse of women, both physically and sexually, and the sexual abuse of at least one child? If you were to join such a religion today, you would stand convicted of your own base nature, by association with that person!
SEVEN: Does it legitimize, or detract from its evil, that Islam was established several hundred years ago, and counts with over a billion members throughout the world?
For a Muslim, or a person considering becoming a Muslim, these are certainly legitimate questions!
